The Tallest Bridge In the World – The Millau Viaduct

There are people who are afraid of heights, and therefore have a fear of flying. They would rather choose a journey by car, bus or train than by aeroplane. But what if the road is a little bit high? One is certain, those who want to travel from Paris to Spain have to get used to great height, because they have to travel across the Millau Viaduct, which is 270 metres (890 ft) high below the road deck. It is the tallest bridge at the world, with one mast’s summit at 343 metres (1,125 ft). The construction started in October 2001 and finished in December 2004.

(22l m), respectively. And the tallest point of the bridge reaches a level about 4 percent higher than the Eiffel Tower.
